This Privacy Policy explains how Workers’ Rebellion LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, create an account, subscribe to our newsletter, or make a purchase.

2. Information We Collect
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and shipping/billing address.
Order information. When you make a purchase, we collect the information necessary to fulfill it: name, shipping address, billing address, email, and order contents.
Payment information. Payment is processed through PayPal, including PayPal’s supported digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay) and, where applicable, region-specific bank payment methods PayPal offers to international customers. We do not directly collect or store your full card details — that information is handled entirely by PayPal.
Newsletter information. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address (and name, if provided) through MailPoet.
Back-in-stock notifications. If you request to be notified when an out-of-stock product becomes available, we collect your email address solely for that purpose.
Communications. If you contact us directly, we retain the content of that communication and anything you provide with it, such as photos submitted for a damaged-item claim.
Store analytics. We use WooCommerce’s built-in analytics to understand our own sales and product performance. This data is internal to our store and is not shared with outside advertising platforms.
Security and technical information. We use security tools (including Wordfence, honeypot spam protection, and login-attempt monitoring) that log IP addresses and login/form activity for the purpose of detecting and blocking malicious access and spam. This information is used strictly for site security and is not used for marketing purposes.
Password resets. If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email for security verification purposes.
Login activity. If you log in to your account, we set cookies to keep you logged in and remember your display preferences. Login cookies last two days (or two weeks if you select “Remember Me”); preference cookies last one year. These are removed when you log out.
Shipping and tax calculation. To calculate shipping rates and applicable sales tax, and to generate shipping labels, your order address is shared with the shipping and tax-calculation services integrated into our store (WooCommerce Shipping and WooCommerce Tax), which in turn interact with shipping carriers as needed to deliver your order.
Embedded content. Pages on our site may occasionally include embedded content from other websites (such as videos or social media posts). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the source website directly, and that third party may collect data about your interaction with it, independent of us.
Cookies. Our website uses cookies for core functionality (such as keeping items in your cart) and, where applicable, for purposes you’ve consented to via our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
Tools not currently active. We have several integrations installed but not currently configured or connected, including Klaviyo (customer/order sync and marketing automation), Google Merchant listings, and Pinterest and Snapchat advertising integrations. None of these are currently collecting or sharing your data. If we activate any of these in the future, we will update this policy and our cookie consent settings accordingly before doing so.

We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill your orders, including calculating shipping and tax and generating shipping labels
- Create and maintain your account
- Notify you when a requested product is back in stock

4. Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the business:
- PayPal — processes payment for all orders, including any digital wallet or regional payment methods offered through PayPal’s platform. Subject to PayPal’s own privacy policy.
- Production and fulfillment partners — for orders requiring physical shipping (hot sauce and spice blends via Kensington Food Company, coffee via Path Coffee Roasters, branded merchandise via CafePress), we share the shipping information necessary to fulfill your order.
- Shipping carriers — via our shipping label service, to deliver your order.
- MailPoet — manages our newsletter list and email delivery.
- Legal or regulatory authorities — if required by law.
Each of these partners receives only the information necessary to perform their specific function and is not authorized to use it for their own independent marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and order information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Security logs (IP addresses, login attempts) are retained only as long as needed for security monitoring purposes. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal information except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the data we hold about you, and the right to withdraw consent for optional data uses (such as our newsletter) at any time. If you have an account, you can view or edit most of your personal information directly within your account settings at any time.

The Job Search Tracker — A Specific Note
Our primary product, the Job Search Tracker, runs entirely in your browser on your own device. It does not transmit any data to Workers’ Rebellion LLC or to any third party. All application data you enter into the tracker is stored in your browser’s local storage and goes nowhere else. We have no access to it and make no claim to it.
How Long We Keep Your Data
- Order records: We retain purchase records for seven years for tax and accounting purposes, consistent with IRS requirements for small business records.
- Email correspondence: Retained as long as reasonably relevant to customer support, then deleted.
- Website cookies: Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent functional cookies expire within 12 months.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements (we cannot delete order records we are required to keep for tax purposes)
