How the Money Works
Workers’ Rebellion is a startup, and pretending otherwise — promising big charitable numbers before there’s a business to fund them — would be exactly the kind of asterisk we said we’d never hide behind. So the money works in phases, and we tell you which one we’re in.
Recoup Startup Costs
Net revenue goes toward paying back what’s already gone into building this: LLC formation, licensing, trademark filings, web hosting, domain registration, SSL certification, software development, and the operational costs required to launch. Nothing moves to the next phase until this is cleared.
Sustain the Founder
Once startup costs are recouped, revenue supports the person running this full-time, so the business is sustainable enough to keep existing.
R&D / Product Line Expansion
Revenue funds new SKUs and product lines — driven by customer surveys and pre-orders, not guesswork — plus the equipment, testing, and production costs that come with growing the lineup.
Profit Sharing with Charity Partners
Once the business is self-sustaining and growing, formal quarterly giving to partner organizations begins, split across the full partner list.
What We Commit To
Transparency Commitment
Every quarter, we publish which phase we’re currently in and roughly what’s left to clear it before moving to the next one. No vague “we’re working on it” — actual numbers, actual progress, no asterisks.
Optional Direct Donations & Phase 4 Partnership
Visit our Aligned Charitable Organizations page to see groups whose missions align with Workers’ Rebellion values. Every link goes directly to their donation page — we never touch or hold direct donations.
Phase 4 involves formal profit-sharing: 50% of profits distributed to confirmed partner organizations. Outreach is in progress to gauge interest and confirm alignments. No formal partnerships exist until Phase 4 agreements are signed.
No Opt-Outs on the Partner List
Once Phase 4 giving begins, you cannot veto specific partner organizations from that pool. If you cannot live with the full list, there are plenty of other options out there.
Payment & Policy Notes
All payments run through third-party processors (PayPal or WooCommerce-compatible gateways). We do not accept cryptocurrency or NFTs. Their volatility and pseudo-anonymity make them a playground for fraud and criminal enterprise, and we want no part of that.
Where This Is Headed
